  1. Education and Community Health:


    • Distance Adoption Projects:

      • Beneficiaries: 143 children in KaMaxakeni and KaMubukwana.

      • Support Provided: School materials, uniforms, medical assistance, and emergency family support.

      • Focus: Preservation of children's rights with national and international meetings.


    • Ntwanano School:

      • Expansion: Added a kindergarten section.

      • Funding: 366,772.49 MZN from Mundo Ético.

      • Current Status: Activities interrupted due to COVID-19; staff reassigned to other projects.


  2. Natural Resources and Environment:


    • Empowering Communities II:

      • Budget: 12,707,775.00 MZN (750,000.00 MZN from KULIMA).

      • Scope: Maputo, Gaza, Inhambane, and Manica provinces.

      • Activities: Construction of eco-friendly stoves, creation of savings and credit groups, off-grid energy use.

      • Achievements: 8,630 fixed stoves with chimneys built, 3,525 Mbaula stoves sold, 54,000+ people sensitized.


    • Energy Access Window:

      • Funding: 6,616 Euros.

      • Outcome: Production and sale of 6,271 Mbaula stoves in seven districts of Maputo Province, project concluded in December 2022.


    • Marracuene Production Hub:

      • Collaboration: UpEnergy.

      • Outcome: Produced 600 Smart Home stoves in three phases.

      • Infrastructure Improvements: Built a shed, installed water facilities, faced some administrative challenges.


  3. Food Security and Nutrition:

    • Partnership for Strengthening Private Sector Development in Rural Livelihoods:

      • Budget: 25,590 USD.

      • Scope: Mozambique, India, Nepal.

      • Focus: Smart agriculture practices, agro-processing, and community tourism.

      • 2022 Activities: Identified tourism opportunities in Maxaquene, supported renewable energy technology ventures.


  4. Income Generation and Social Inclusion:


    • Creative Income Generation for Women in the Context of COVID-19:

      • Funding: 1,657,378.00 MZN from GIZ.

      • Support Provided: Distributed 71 solar-powered sewing kits to women's groups in Maputo, Inhambane, and Manica.

      • Focus: Hygiene practices, small business management, and environmental preservation.


    • Together for Inclusion:

      • Budget: 9,953,334 MZN.

      • Support Provided: Training in entrepreneurship, creation of savings and credit groups for 80 people with disabilities.

      • Activities: Construction of mobile stoves, promotion of social inclusion across various communities.
